Take a potential project.  Throw your ideas in the mix.  Add:
An abundance of experience
3 tbs innovation
1 tps advice
1 pinch consultant’s rigour
Mix together with a detailed understanding of all the constraints. 
Allow to simmer for a couple of days then if agreeable – get on with it.

Follow the above recipe but add an element of risk and a dose of reward. 

TO MAKE A CUSTARD-PIE
1 (9-inch) deep pie crust
4 slightly beaten eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 c. scalded milk
Nutmeg
  Chill pie shell while making filling. Blend eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla, and almond extract. Gradually stir in scalded milk.

Pour into chilled unbaked pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Pie is done when knife inserted halfway between outside and centre of custard comes out clean.

Remove from oven; set on cooling rack for 15-30 minutes.

Eat.
